Now, I alternate between damage or interrupting ranger. I deal alot of damage fast, but the question is:
Penetrating attack or Dual Shot?
Same recharge and energy. Different effect.
I use a 5:1 vamp string, and will almost always have kindle arrows up in a fight. So which would do more? (this is both PvE and PvP, I actually have little difference between the 2 in my skill set)
I figure, alone, penetrating does more. But with the vampiric string and kindle, that's what, an extra ~25 damage from buffs? Plus the dual shot damage. And I like having all the yellow numbers appear with dual shot + kindle followed by quickshot

Which would you reccomend? (the 14-26 storm bow wielding, silver dyed droknars armour wearing, level 18 wolf bringing rangers need not apply)

Should note I like to keep one 10 energy attack and one 5 energy.

With a Vampiric and Kindle I would reccomend taking Dual Shot & Quick Shot. 10 health/damage and 40+/- damage from 2 arrows is nothing to snuff at.

Penetrating will work way better on warriors, and possibly rangers. Against mages, Dual would work better with your setup.

What they said. Personally, I'd just go with Duel, as Penetrating, while nice, isn't very effective with lower armor values.

With Kindle and Vampiric buffing each arrow, Dual Shot. It's not even a contest.
